About this Book

The Genesis Man book grew from the Genesis Man ministry. This writing has been a culmination of experience, reflection taken from ministry activities, messages I have preached, and an overall life’s desire to understand my own masculine identity. I started writing it when the earth cooled, and after much pokes from God (at least I believe it was him!), I finished. When I finally grew sick of editing, I had it done one more time by Carene Spence my unofficial professional editor, and so here it is…definitely, absolutely ready -or maybe one more revision might be on the horizon…

The book started more as a Men’s Ministry manual that focused on defining masculinity, but transformed into an objective researched, yet personal portrait of masculine identity. My desire is that it will be a starting point of understanding and discussion and not the final word. I hope to create companion reflection journals, and small group and men’s ministry resources.

I’ve made the first four chapters available for free because I don’t want money to be barrier to the information and ideas that need to be shared and discussed. Obviously, it does take resources to maintain this blog and domain name, so you are welcomed to get a copy.
