“Movember” 2020

Movember is winding down, but what it stands for must stay with us all year!

We have this opportunity to raise awareness, raise funds and shine a spotlight on men’s health and issues.

We do so “…because of numbers like this – in Canada,

Men die on average 4 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons.”

“Men account for 3 out of 4 suicides, and suicide is the second leading cause of death among Canadian men aged 15-44.
1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
And testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young Canadian men.”

“Suicide is the leading cause of death globally among men aged 15-29. We’re working hard to change that and to improve the mental health and wellbeing of men of all ages, all over the world. With funds raised by our incredible community, we create innovative programs that focus on social connection, resilience, support and friendship.”
