“A Sure Foundation” Men’s Conference

About the Conference
The Point Men Hybrid Conference is sponsored by the men at The Spring Community Church (2431 St Clair Avenue West Toronto M6N 1K9). PH (416) 604-3447 – Email: springccto@gmail.com
The core focus of our yearly conferences centers on men helping other men to navigate the various personal, emotional, and societal issues of our time. We bring together individuals from different background and training who are versed in their fields as well as having practical life experiences with a view to dialogue and impart their know-hows and knowledge and provide answers to questions that we may have.
The goal is to encourage and motivate participants to rise above obstacles and challenges they might be dealing with and to take the view that no issue is too daunting to overcome. In a sense, it is a motivational conference, but bear in mind that we are a church group so, we also bring a biblical worldview to the issues that face our society.
The theme of this year’s conference is “A Sure Foundation”. We believe that we’re witnessing foundational cracks in our culture as it relates to our families, churches, and nation. There is an urgent need to redouble our effort to build on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ that produces steadfast faith, life and allows us to be living examples to others. That being said, it doesn’t mean our conference will only be dealing with matters of theology. We have a very diverse line up of speakers, namely:
Dr. Alannah Li is a medical doctor who will speak about healthy living with an emphasis on the frequent issues that come up during patient interactions.
Orville Bernard is an entrepreneur, businessman (who owns multiple Tim Horton franchisees), and a prostate cancer survivor who will address the matter about what we can do about foundations that have been removed.
Pastor Dwayne Rattray is the Keynote Speaker will bring a historical theological perspective to our topic of presentation.
This is a conference for every man and young men! It starts at 7pm on Friday, June 10 and continues from 9.15 am – 12.30 pm on Saturday, June 11.
Attenders make connect via Zoom or YouTube. Please share the links and invite friends and relatives.
