East Regional National Men’s Ministry
A guiding focus for the National Men’s Ministry of Eastern Canada is allying with boys and young men. (Of course, that also includes our girls and young women.) Engaging with our young people is an important value that we must uphold.
One of the ways we do this is through excursions sponsored by the East Regional Men’s Ministry. 2024 we went to the Metro Toronto Zoo (Fathers & Girls Trip), as well in 2023 the Royal Ontario Museum was visited (Fathers & Boys Trip). In 2025 we decided to partner with the National Children’s Ministry in their “Kingdom Kids Connect” as opposed to having an excursion.
We helped in the promotion and transporting kids to this event, and also had our own session about fatherhood and men in the church. This engaging discussion was led by Pastor Lorenzo Charlicombe.
(Please note that we encourage uncles, older brothers, grandfathers or male mentors to participate in our excursions.)
2026 Excursion
In 2026 we will be having our 3rd annual excursion! This will be a Father & Kids Trip. It is planned for Saturday March 14, 2026. Please save the date! More information to follow soon.
