Daniel Peters (author)

Daniel (Prez) Peters -is a Canadian born biracial man- who originates from both Belizean and Canadian backgrounds. Daniel attended highschool both in Pickering Ontario at Pine Ridge, before moving to Oshawa Ontario at 16 and attending G.L. Roberts Collegiate which lead to attending Durham College’s Operations Management program. He currently works as a union organizer, assisting employees in bettering their workplaces, improving their terms and conditions, and having their collective voices heard.

Being brought up in the Pentecostal Church led by his father’s strong beliefs, he endured his share of challenges around race, financial disparity, his father’s fight and eventual loss to brain cancer, and currently raising his own two mixed children in a blended family with his fiancé.

Daniel facilitates an Instagram men’s group called “The Association of Fellowship”, where men share daily scriptures, Christian videos and other uplifting and faith-building literature. Daniel is excited to share his experiences and testimonies around dealing with loss, racism, overcoming adversity and temptations, as well as having to navigate a shared custody arrangement among other topics through the Genesis Man platform.

Daniel encourages other men and family and friends. He receives scriptures and prayers daily from Crosswalk.com and shares them with a message God has placed on his heart.
